堤清二／辻井喬 オマージュ展（セゾン現代美術館） Omage to Seiji Tsutumi / Takashi Tsujii (Sezon Museum of Modern Art)

 今年の9月に、軽井沢を訪れた際に、セゾン現代美術館を訪れた。

何年か前に、一度訪れたことがあった。今度は、2度目の訪問だった。

当時の自分は、今日ほど、現代アートには詳しくなかった。

しかし、そのもっと前、20年ほど前に、私は、池袋に住んでおり、西武百貨店の別館にあったセゾン美術館をよく訪れていた。

当時は、現代アートどころか、アートそのものに全く詳しくはなかった。

詳しくはなかったが、とにかく、このセゾン美術館には通いつめていた。

展示されている作品というよりは、その建物や空間感覚に引かれていたのかもしれない。

軽井沢のセゾン現代美術館の館内を巡りながら、かすかながら、池袋で見たことのあった作品の記憶が蘇る。

その中でも特に、アンゼルム・キーファーの”革命の女たち”は、強烈に記憶に刻まれていた。

マン・レイの不思議なオブジェも、おそらくは、過去に池袋で開催された展覧会で、目にしていたに違いない。

ちょうど、2013年に亡くなった堤清二の回顧展が開催されていた。

堤清二の執務室を再現したような、その展示スペースの一角に、フランシス・ベーコンが堤清二に送った作品が展示されていた。作品には、堤清二の名が書かれていた。
