HIROSHI HARA : WALLPAPERS （市原湖畔美術館 Ichihara Lakeside Museum）

はじめて、市原湖畔美術館を訪れた。

アクアラインで、千葉の市原鶴舞インターを降りてすぐ。房総半島のほぼど真ん中、小湊鉄道の沿線沿いにある。

周りは、いたって、ローカル。東京から1時間で、こんな場所があるなんて・・・

企画展のテーマは、世界的な建築家、原広司による、法華経、ウパニシャッド、アリストテレス、道元、千夜一夜物語、デカルト、スピノザ、宮沢賢治、大江健三郎などの作品を、書き写した、原広司、言うところの写経。

といっても、単なる写経ではない。トレーシングペペーパーを細長く切ったものをつなげ、まずは左側に、風景画のような色付きのイメージを描き、その右側に、左側の絵と同じようになるように、文字の色を変えて、作品を書き写している。

文字は、翻訳ではなく、英語はもとより、サンスクリット、アラビア語、フランス語、ドイツ語など、ほとんどを原語で書いている。ご苦労様です。

どうしてこのプロジェクトを始めるにいたったかが、館内で映されている映像で、本人により解説されている。その内容は、偉く哲学的な内容で、形で見せる展覧会には、ちょっとふさわしくないと思われる内容だった。

原広司の、建築家としての展示もある。最新のコンペのモックアップや、過去の作品の写真など。

大阪の梅田スカイビル、JR京都駅、札幌ドームなど。

常設展は、展示替えの準備中ということで、残念ながら見えず。屋外の展示は、楽しめた。

そんなに頻繁には訪れることは難しそうだが、たまには、小旅行気分で訪れてみたい美術館だ。

The first time, I visited Ichihara lakeside museum.

In Aqua line, just off the Chiba Ichihara Tsurumai Inter. Almost right in the middle of the Boso Peninsula, located along the wayside railway Kominato.

Theme of exhibitions, a global architect, by Hiroshi Hara, the Lotus Sutra, the Upanishads, Dogen, Spinoza, the works such as Kenji Miyazawa, was transcribing, so-called Sutras.

Of course, it is not a mere Sutras. And connecting those cut elongated tracing Bae paper, first to the left, to draw a colored image, such as the landscape, to the right, so that in the same way as the left side of the picture, by changing the color of the text, the work he transcribing.

Character is not a translation, English has written well, Sanskrit, French, and German, mostly in the language.

Certainly, it's a unique attempt, but as works, somewhat subtle.

There is also the exhibition as an architect. And the latest mock-up, such as past works photo.

Permanent exhibition, that is being prepared for exhibition sort, it can not be seen, unfortunately. Outdoor exhibition, I enjoyed.

I so often it seems difficult to visit but, once in a while, it's a museum that you want to visit a small travel mood.
